Didn't someone have some add on rules for using Black Pwder to play Samurai Battles? Anyone know where I can get them? Anyone tried them? Thanks Mike |

I did, but they are for Hail Caesar, as that's far closer to the battle line nature of Samurai warfare. Here you go, I'm sure you can adjust things for BP: PDF link |

i'll see if I can hunt down the link. |

Firearms were only used for about the last 60 years of the Sengoku Jidai, less than a third of the period. Most Japanese troops were NOT armed with ranged weapons at all, really, so you'd be much better served with Hail Caesar as the base with a few small units armed with firearms instead of bows |

I agree that Hail Caesar is the better system for this. Use the crossbow stats for teppo. |

The local group uses Hail Ceasar as well. Did include firearms. Just gave a -1 to the save being hit by firearms. Seemed to work well. |
