I have the Finns and the Russians as well. I agree with your comments and put these in the "rough and ready" category. They won't win any sculpting awards, but the price was right and as yours show, they look good on the table. |

In anticipation of my KS figures, I've painted some Brigade Games Finns just to play with the colors. You say you miss using your inks, I did too. The smocks I colored with simply drybrushing, going from grays up to white. But gear, faces, gloves, and even straps I went ahead and inked (on thin straps, sometimes carefully). I still got the shading that I wanted, without glazing over the white color to their smocks. |

These figures look dismal. Rather than 28mm, they seem like poor 1/72 plastics to me. |
