Hi Chacrinha It is a fuller account than Waters of Oblivion. As I mentioned in the review, Hughes goes into great detail on each of the combats. In the Defensa he often tracks each combat by the block. Also, IIRC Waters focuses almost completely on the land operations. British Invasion devotes a fair amount of space to the naval operations, including several small battles that I had never heard of previously. |

Thank you John, I may just pick that up. I quite enjoyed Mr Hughes' book on the volunteers under Bolivar, despite it's narrow focus. |
