For that price I'd want the entire game.

I love the five star review that questions the accuracy of the description.

Sell one, and you have made your week.

I'm surprised the item isn't preceded by "RARE!", like virtually everything on eBay – even the stuff that isn't rare.

Geez. You'd think any old plastic carrier would do.

A friend who used to own an online used book store told me they would put an incredible high price next to the book they actually did not even had in stock. They knew that a person looking for the book in question would not buy it for that price but might check the other items. This could be the case here.

The sad part is that so many HAVE been bought that there's only one left

Pffft. Over a thousand bucks for a Rookie carrier? Hah!. Maybe if it was a veteran one…

You know, if they hadn't added that extra cent I might have been interested…

"You'd think any old plastic carrier would do."

Not really. This one has a chain deck which allows it to ignore enemy armor on ramming and doubles the strength of the carrier in the ram. Plus any planes launched from it count as having the Grinder special rule which means that enemy ships attacked by them have to re-roll successful saves.

Add in that it is one of three carriers that can use the linked special rule to make simultaneous response attacks from up to 6 ships and you have something that is probably worth the price they are asking.
