Does anyone have any experience from ordering from Metal Express lately? Just curious to what the normal wait and turn around is. I have had an order "processing" for 2 weeks ….. which I dunno, seems like a long time any more. Maybe I should just be more patient.

My plastic sprees were super fast. my metal ships were a very long wait. Leland is usually around here, I'm sure he'll chime in any second.

Yeah, I ordered the metals. I already have a few sets of the plastics, though to be fair, I am converting the ships for some 6mm forces.

Glenn,

caveat emptor, all metal ships are sent directly from RAFM Miniatures of Canada, so unless you live in Canada, you're at the mercy of the Canadan Postal Service, as well as your own.

We appreciate that this is a bit wonky, however it was what we could make happen on our shoestring budget to get Silent Death back to the fans, and we have managed to keep the books and plastic ships in the U.S. Proper, so yes, they do turn around faster to our customers accordingly.

As for having patience, as a wargamer of over 35 years, I share your pain, as anything less than IN MY HANDS NOW is never fast enough!evil grin

Please just hang in there, and don't hesitate to PM me via the MX forum or here on TMP if your order begins to look like it's gone AWOL or been hijacked by a Luches commerce raider, and we'll track it down and sort it out or you.

Respectfully,
