My own version of this popular Chasseur regiment is now posted on my Blog: link Painting is by Leuthen Studious. Forgotten & Glorious did a very nice job detailing and animating this unit. |

Nice figures, a very animated group. I know some guys who reenact the regiment. They get very upset when anyone calls them zouaves. They are chasseurs! |

I also liked your pictures of the HMS Victory. Is the ship moored in a permanent dry dock? What a magnificent looking ship. |

Yes, Chassuers! AF, yes in permanent dry dock at the old Dockyard, itself a wonderful site to visit. When I was touring it as a boy, they still had HMS Victorious, the full deck carrier, and WW2 Cruisers tied up, dozens and dozens of the old fleet and I'm sure I remember hulks rotting in the shallows. There is nothing quite like the Hard to remind you of the Royal Navy's glorious past. Also Buckler's Hard in the nearby New Forest where they built men of war is another great site to visit. |

Now I have been able to examine the F&G figures more closely, I am even more impressed. I have uploaded more images here: link |
