I have attempted to add a link to a couple of posts but it doesn't work for me. I type in the url but it does not convert to a link, any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Copy the URL and paste it into your topic. When you click the submit button it converts the copy to a link.

What they said – the main cause of links going wrong on TMP is punctuation, though – make sure you have clear space at both ends of the url. If you put it in brackets like (www.domsdecals.com) the brackets will be read as part of the word, so it no longer gets read as a link.

A similar problem applies if you put it at the end of the sentence and add a full stop at the end like domsdecals.com. In this case, as it starts www it gets recognised as a url and hyperlinked, but the full stop is read as part of the address, so the link will often be a dud. If you just type the address, starting with www dot then it should work fine.

Thank you gentlemen.

Just to be sure, I always put the link on a separate line.
