That is kind of pricey for only 84 pages.

CPBelt03 Feb 2014 10:16 a.m. PST

Available pre-order is the 2014 Medieval Warfare Special: The Capture of Constantinople, 84 pages for €1,250.00 EUR EUR(free shipping).

This issue must be written in gold leaf and hand illuminated. "A true collector's item."

I don't get it??

When I click on the link the ad shows €10.30 EUR.

Where did €1,250.00 EUR come from??

?????

Huscarle03 Feb 2014 10:37 a.m. PST

Perhaps the 1st post should read €12.50 EUR as it reads Regular Price £12.32 GBP, special price £10.30 GBP to me. I'll be getting it anyhow, great subject for a special issue.

CPBelt03 Feb 2014 11:16 a.m. PST

Nuts. At the original price, I thought it was a collector item only destined to rise in value at an alarming rate, like my 1990s Death of Superman comics with variant holographic covers. Now it looks like an ordinary thing only worth the information inside, not the $2,000 USD as originally stated. Bummer.

I've just seen Jose artwork for Nils and my article, it's awesome and well worth a couple of grand on its own ;-)

The cover: Is that supposed to be "the last emperor" after he tore off his insignia and charged from the gate he was defending deeply into the enemy ranks and perished?…

I'll be buying it too.

Medieval Warfare is a great mag.

Just read it – excellent. Complements and goes beyond the Osprey.
