I have been planning this year's releases and come to the conclusion I need to create some more mould space and rationalise some ranges to concentrate my efforts a little better. I am considering selling off the Mutants and Madmen range of SF figures which can be viewed here: link and concentrating on the Cobalt-1 SF Range. There are 75 figures in the M&M range and the sale would comprise all the master moulds and masters (where they exist), production castings and production moulds, display figures, etc. I also have a range of Martian Traders that has yet to be released and which has master moulds but no production moulds. This consists of 30 figures, plus heavy artillery and crew and flying saucers and crew – plus some painted display figures. If you are interested then please PM me with an offer or any questions and I can supply further pictures, etc Or email mike@blackhat.co.uk The range would suit an existing company that wants to expand their lines or someone who wanted to start up new as the range has a lot of potential for expansion. I want to sell the range as a whole if possible. thanks Mike |

Unfortunately I can't help with shifting a miniature range. But as customer only I have to agree that more (or unless I'm mistaken, any new ones at all for a fairly long time) Cobalt-1 stuff sounds good. |

I like Black cats minis and bought already lot
.. Selling moulds is a bad move and a short term strategy. Please dont do it. Keep your assortment intact. Greetings |

Rudi I'm Black Hat. Not Cat. I have another extensive SF range that I would like to add to as well as other new projects. I also only have a 12 floor square Workshop and 1000 moulds already

Sounds like a good idea to me, as I love cobalt-1 and would love to see you expand the range (by casting more of the original range or by new sculpts). But I also agree with Dozing Dragon – can we see a few pics of the martian traders – because they sound great – there are all too few sci-fi civilian minis, especially aliens (I usually have to make/convert my own) – and if these martian traders are decent sculpts then I'd advise keeping them
but we'd need to see some pics to know! BTW, have you considered expanding cobalt-1 via a TMP poll or design competition to see what new sculpts people would like? |

TM I have ALL of the Cobalt-1 range in moulds and cast up. What I am hoping to do is add some of the extras that Bob had planned but never produced. The Martian Traders are all armed – more Sand People than civilians. Mike |

Releasing the great Bob Naismaith's unproduced stuff sounds like an excellent plan, Mike. Those sand people-style martian traders also sound excellent, and would possibly fit well with the superb sanwar from ironclad minis. Please put them into production! |

Mike, Did you do anything as far as the Martian trader range you mentioned? Any pictures yet of them?? I will buy any new Cobalt figures you make… Thanks, Larry Buck |

Just yesterday I was contemplating getting some more Cobalt-1 figures, and the same question occurred to me Larry! So Mike, are there any more Cobalt-1 extras in the pipeline? I'd like to see a pic or two of the Martian traders too; even an old catalogue photo would be interesting. |

Sorry, just seen this. The Martian Traders are a new release, not an old one, and eventually they will come out – just needto find the time with everything else that is going on. No planned Cobalt-1 releases at the moment – the first release is likely to be female passengers and a rider for the jetbike. Mike |

Hi Mike, thanks for the update – that's great news! Looking forward very much to the 'traders, and excellent to have some female jetbikers too. |
