In the Boer and Zulu Wars, were their entire uniforms dark green or just the tunics (i.e., green tunic with blue pants)?

All the stuff I've seen has dark green tunic and trousers.

The Boer War, I've seen as khaki.

Yes, all dark green, all but black according to some accounts. That applies for the 1st Boer War and the Zulu War, the 2nd Boer War they'd be in khaki as I understand it, but I have seen books say they were in the green still.

In the First Boer War (Transvaal War) they were rifle dark green as well:

OK – that's what I needed. I couldn't tell from Osprey's illustrations in the Majuba Campaign volume. Link saved, Grognard. Thanks, everyone!

Would they have been wearing the same green uniform during the 2nd Afgan War?

I painted mine in the green uniforms and use them for all Victorian battles. Just think it makes them look more unique whether historically correct or not.

The figures above are 28mm Empress Miniatures painted by Fernando Enterprises in Sri Lanka. The 2 figures on the left are to be part of a Gatling gun section.
