What a laugh. I had not seen these Wargames Foundry 28mm Franco-Prussian figures before and I think the character of a despondent Napoleon III is very funny and very well done. Enjoy.

You haven't seen them before!!!
This command group travels across my table very very slowly on account of having to take the table with them…

Ah, mashrewba, my friend, you may recall that I began an interest in the Alamo/Texan War of Independence period some time ago (our Captain Fantastic & Dirt Brown Cowboy days evil grin) but I have never considered Franco-Prussian War, until now.

That Napoleon III figure is really fantastic – put an instant smile on my face.

I remember it well "The Captain and the Kid stepping in the ring"!!

It's a great fig -I haven't painted mine yet but he will be sitting on a log with a Prussian or two standing guard.

Send me a message if you still have my Email.

Nashville, those Foundry figures are great sculpts and you've painted them up very well. The idea of having Napoleon III sat on a horse is brilliant. It works so well. thumbs up

Mashrewba, I like the idea of sitting Nappy III on a log under Prussian guard – a great little vignette.

I'll track down your email and be in touch. Cheers. laugh
