One of the mainstream pre-painted companies The Collectors Showcase has formed a new company called Collectors Battlefied. It has taken their WWII line and scaled it down to 28mm pre-painted.Check it link .

Not cheap! Even compared to various painting services I've used like DPS.

Disco Joe01 Feb 2014 8:39 p.m. PST

That is ridiculously priced.

Yes they do seem priced high but the painting services I use cost $8 USD-$10 per figure for standard painting plus the cost of the figure so $8.90 USD per figure don't seem that bad to me.Of course those who paint themselves won't even consider these. They do seem to be nice figures though and the company eventually wants to do other ranges that they have in their large scale figures.

Not bad. For a squad will cost you $200 USD This is a days work. How many games worth of fun??? A lifetime…

combatpainter Fezian02 Feb 2014 7:13 a.m. PST

I really like the jeep.

I'm interested to see where this goes, a lot of my toy soldier collector customers seem to like this new concept, wargaming customers do as well, which is encouraging to see.

Will see what the reaction is once I get them and start bringing them to the conventions, hope to have the first of these by Cold Wars.

Link still isn't working?

second link works fine for me. collectorsbattlefield.com

$60 USD for a Jeep?!? Interrogative Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over! Not much difference in $$ between a Jeep and a tank, either.

The infantry prices aren't too bad, I pay more for Anima Tactics and Infinity minis that aren't painted. In fact, I'd probably buy those if I was going to do WW2 in 28mm, Disposable Heroes or similar (or a WW2 RPG)…

But the vehicles seem to be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY high.

You get 2-3 figures and everything is painted.I've paid up to $20 USD a figure (at a high collectors standard),$8 for standard painting so if you subtract the figures what are you paying for the tank,$48?For some way too high, others it is worth it as it is painted, for the painters forget about it.I really think this will appeal to collectors who like to do dioramas but can't afford or have the space to do large dios with the 1/30 scale figures and vehicles.

The figures seem to be reasonably priced. Say you deduct $2.00 USD for the figure, then the paint job is costing you $6.90 USD per figure, which seems to be in the ball park for above average brush work.

I have no interest in painting WW2 figures, but I could see buying a couple of squads and getting into the game right out of the box.

Be nice to know what scale the vehicles are and how the figures compare to other ranges. First impression from the pictures – slim and tall. Doubt they would is with makes like Artizan or Crusader.
