Following a request from a local painting service we have introduced a new type of trade stand at A Call To Muster 2014 in March.

The trade stand is designed for those individuals or firms that do either all or the majority of their hobby trading – products or services – over the Internet or via mail order or for new firms entering the hobby.

We are offering all these types of trader two options in addition to our normal full trading option as follows:
a) An advertising only trade stand for a nominal fee per 6 foot – where information and samples only can be displayed.
b) A hybrid trade stand for a reduced fee per 6 foot – where information etc can be displayed and small quantities of the relevant product are available for sale.

The aim is to allow individuals or firms to have a presence at the show that do not have the stock to undertake standard trading and thus the potential to recover our standard trade stand fee plus expenses. As a by-product the individual or firm would not require expensive transport, everything needed being capable of transport in a normal sized car we would expect.

Further information can be found on our website – teesshows.co.uk

We are very pleased to report that the first of these new trade stands has been booked by Vectis Auctions Ltd – the world's leading auction house for collectable toys – and staff will be available to offer auction valuations for any military/civilian collectables brought in. In addition Auction Catalogues [current & past] will be available for sale, giving valuable information on auction values for collectables.

Sounds like a good way for smaller vendors to get more advertising and exposure for their products. Maybe this will catch on both there in the UK and here is the USA.

Good luck!

And… as I believe I am the for mentioned 'local painting service' – Marching in Colour will be attending A Call to Muster – may I say again, thank you.

This flexible pricing structure allows me to attend in a trade capacity and fully support the show.

On a personal note, I have been attending these shows for several years now (gap aside) and have huge respect for David and Tom. They really do put on a great show and are a credit to the gaming community at large.

What a great idea – innovative thinking, so I hope this will pop up elsewhere.
