Your question is an interesting one. I'll try and answer it as best I can. I have a wide ranging interest in history: social, political & military. This helps me to see army potential in, well, just about anything. I think that if you write down your reasoning behind the choice of army and the troops in it then anything is possible within HotT. It is also useful to fellow gamers to get them to think laterally about army composition. And it's also great fun!
