They used to have quite a good collection available, anyone know what happened?

Curious about this also. I have a bunch with the intention of getting more but now they'll probably get sold off.

HLBS decided to focus on 28mm a while back. The old west ranges got sold off to minifig.uk a while back, but I don't know if anyone bought the moderns.

They do still have the AFVs which are excellent. I just bought another batch in Dec 2013.

I wish I could find out too. They were marketed as DZ minis, but I can't find anything under that name anymore.

they decided that the line wasn't modern enough, and withdrew them to consider remaking them, but I think slow sales when they were available mean that there unlikely to be back any time soon.

July 27th, 2011: Modern 40mm changes

From the end of next month [August 2011.]we will be discontinuing the entire Modern range of figures. The fact is some of the range are now over 10 years old and therefore could not really be called modern anymore. Instead of just leaving a few sparse packs of the most up to date sets we will discontinue all of them. However later in the year we will be releasing a whole brand new range of figures equipped with the very latest in gear, weapons and equipment to bring a range that is truly "Ultra Modern". Watch this space.

Seems they didnt' come out later in the year, and seeing as how the vehicles they are producing are not ultra modern it seems a strange decision – their 'modern' French would go rather nicely with the new AML

Never quite understood this decision , people would till want to game recent modern actions

I agree, they were modern, just not current or contemporary, but still extremely nice figures and very useful.
