I've posted nice pics of my French infantry units on my Blog.
To anyone interested – Have a look, if you like.
I've been fuzzing with the best angle and focus for a while. Taking images of flats really is challenging, although I worked with a rather professional Canon EOS 5 Mark II. A good one. There is more troops to come, once I have solved the depth of focus issue, that I'm not so fond of with the recent outcome.

Cheers,
Christian

Absolutely gorgeous, Painting flats is an art form in itself.

I friggin love those flats! Flats are the one aspect of this hobby that I've never indulged in but wanted to. Brilliant painting. Brilliant.

Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for letting us see them. Have you put together an opposing army?

crogge175727 Jan 2014 3:07 a.m. PST

Thanks guys. The French cavalry will be posted soon.
Yes. I do have the opponents, of course. I'm about the only person I know around in Frankfurt who actually plays with flats. I had to arrange for the opposing forces from the outset, as a result. Next to my largish Allied Anglo-German troops, I also have a Prussian as well as an Austrian army. And by including the inherited largish collection of my friend, I can also field the Russian army needed for Zorndorf, Kunersdorf et. al.

Cheers,
Christian

They look great, Christian. I'd like to see a shot of them lined together up in battle array. And please cross-post the cavalry to the Flats board, looking forward to seeing them.

I wached the battle from 2010 you have on the blog, and they are awesome, looks so much like a period painting.
