It's been a few weeks since the last update, so as you probably would expect there's a fair bit that is new on The Solo Wargamers Association Lone Warrior Blog.

First sample article of the year from Lone Warrior magazine is from LW 173 and is by Graham Empson and concerns the interesting topic of variable movement : PDF link

Rob Morgan gives an in-depth review of Osprey MAA 274 The Border Reivers PDF link and deems it one of the best (which it is…oh those Angus McBride illustrations!).

Rob also takes a quick look at the new part work series "Giant Warplanes" link

Paul le long offers an Osprey in brief review of Elite 72 Napoleon's Commanders (I) PDF link

Chris Hahn offers another of his wonderfully entertaining Battle Reports – this time it's Romans versus Celtic British down Watling Street Way : link

Jonathan Aird admits his complete lack of knowledge of Halo, but recognises a useful model and figure set for 15mm wargaming ! PDF link

And finally Rob Morgan does another in depth review of an Osprey – MAA72 Spanish Civil War PDF link

So…hopefully that's enough until February !
