I've been a fan of the Heavy Gear models for a long time, but they've always been too expensive to get into. Bought some at a discount recently. Yay. Painted up a bunch of Southern Forces Gears. I posted the step-by-step process here…

i think the newest version of the rules are solid. i love the game.
having said that, the price is games workshop retarded. i can't get anyone to buy into the game. its great that you can buy the gears singly(back in the day, this was how they were sold), but its still alot. and no fun to play solo…
