Just a heads up that Brookhurst hobbies have some older Xyston packs and Two Dragons figures on clearance at the moment if anyone's looking to stock up on some 15mm bits and pieces at good value.

The Xyston stuff is mainly Greeks and Persians.

I just placed an order the other day, and Larry there was very helpful, as always. Be aware though that if you're ordering hoplites, the ones on sale have the original smaller shields, not the re-issued larger ones…

Cheers,
Aaron

Interesting – they ran a clearance a few years ago on some of the Xyston Greeks and Macedonians. Picked up a 100 packs or so for under 200.00.

Very good service back then as well.

Yes, always great service from Brookhurst. Like you, I've bought several hundred Xyston packs from them over the years!

Ditto on the above comments. Xyston was the reason I started painting 15mm ancients! Unfortunately I am collecting Xyston Romans now and they are not on clearance.

I love Brookhurst. I bought MASSIVE 15mm armies of persians and greeks from them. I think the LBMS transfers on their shields cost more than the little metal men themselves. I also feel that to me, personally, the xyston persians and greeks look really great, even with my limited painting skill.
