Hello, link I posted this photograph to flickr, it is from a collection that I am currently processing (I am an archivist). It was probably taken by Carl Lewis Gregory on the east coast. That is all I know about it. I think it might be the U.S.S. Michigan but, that is just a guess. Anyone have an idea? Thanks. |

with out a date and a place of where the photo was taken, there is just no way to know witch one of the two ships it is. |

Not sure when funnel bands became standard – but if they are she would be the second ship in the first division. So probably the Michigan just before the newer dreadnoughts started coming into service. This is just a guess as they were so slow they often were place in divisions with pre-dreadnoughts. |
