While waiting for Donnybrook played a game using what I think will be the combat system. Battle report here:

Scenario usable for any skirmish system.

Enjoy

Great stuff Joe, as always. I think we all get plenty of ground combat in, so I'm especially intrigued by the ship to ship, and even more so with the boarding party action. Very cool, I look forward to seeing more.

Any word on your asymmetric stuff for Plt Fwd?

V/R,
Jack

Thanks. The tweaks to Beat to Quarters are done. (You will need D4s though) Will have to write them up. If they are not enough for an artilce I will post them on the blog.

Still working on the boarding party rules. Have decided that you need to divide the decks into parts. Also have played a couple of tavern brawls for fun!

Given your background thought you might like to know am painting up some british marines so HM's sailors don't have to call the army every time!

Emailed Rich on Monday regarding Middle of NoWhere.

Cheers

Cool Joe! Looking forward to… well, everything, and hope it all works out for you as magazine articles. Tell Rich I won't buy the next special without it!
