I wrote up a little bit of advice for a gent who is spending his snow day running a game of Gutshot with with wife and kids. After reading it, I decided that it was pretty good advice, so I posted it over at the Hawgleg Website. Most of it pretty common sense (start simple, don't use horses in the first game, etc) and easily applies to all Western games. So, I thought I'd mention it: link |

Having run a number of Gutshot games for first timers your advice is sound. Generally, I do a variation of last man standing usually involving robbing the bank or such
. Most of my first time players become multiple time players. |

I am also interested in Gutshot but I am having a lot of trouble with the hawgleg.com website. I can not get into the forums, use the contact us form and the emails provided there have bounced. Is there another site or way to get in contact with you? |
