This Thursday sees the release of the awaited expansion to our great IAF015 Hab Dome, a Tower Module. This allows towers to be made and a lot more too. This is several weeks earlier than I expected (reason in the blog post) but it means there is only a delay of a few days from concept to release.
We will have offers on this tower module this week on release but in the meantime please visit the blog for details: link Thanks for Reading. GBS theionage.com |

Woot! Looks like it'd make a pretty good downed escape pod too

Those modules would work nicely on ground level as well. They could represent any number of machinery modules. -Eli |

Thanks all! That is an excellent idea Earther. If you left the connector plate off then the module would indeed work as an Escape Pod from a starship. Eli, you are right as well. With the connector plate off these could be lined up as storage or other modules as well. Towers of two, three, four and even five levels are totally fine with these. Gluing the connector plate to the underside of the tower module allows a 'snap fit' connection with the level below since its a 'relief' of the top of the Hab Dome and each Tower Module. Or stick a module on top of pylon struts and you've got a colony water tower
Or four or five modules end-to-end and laid on their side would make a good cargo module from a transport craft
So many possibilities! |
