Now I know this is going off the deep end, but any suggestions on where to get 28mm scale tables, chairs, beds, as well as miscellaneous items such as rum bottles that could be used for loot for both upper and lower social classes from the 1750s through the 1780s? With all the removable ceilings on models these days with floors and all it just seems like a natural next step. |

I found some furnishing that were perfect in a Doll House Store. They are plastic and made in China. Unfortunately there is no maker's name they are just called "Mini DollHouse Furniture". One set was 3 chairs a side board and Hutch, small round table, tall case clock and an oil lamp, all for $1.50 USD . |

Redcoat 55, The "Mini Doll House Furniture" referenced above are NOT what you want. They are late 19th Century American Eastwood Victorian style, which is great for a lot of things, but not the late 18th Century. Mind, though in 1:48 scale, they are perfect with 28mm figures, and are an absolute steal at from only a few dollars per set (four of five are available, including a bathroom with chain toilet, etc). I hope the links others have kindly provided will be closer to your needs. TVAG |

Try the Eureka 18th C civilians. There are quite a few codes, and some have furniture, with chairs and tables. |

For my 18C furnishings I've used the following 1. 1/48 Mini Doll House Furniture items 2. Chairs/Tables – from Eureka 18C Civilian sets 3. I've scratchbuilt a desk, long table, harpsischord, fireplaces and some other items from cardboard and plastic. 4. Carpets – some Dolls House ones with small patterns quite useful. 5. Pictures – some of the smaller Dolls House picture frames are fine; photo reduce an image and affix as required. Items are difficult to source; Have just found this site (1/48 items) link which is worth investigating, have fun with your interiors |

tidders! Thank you so much for posting the above link to "Petite Properties." The 1/48th scale furniture appears excellent and some items will be perfect for use with "Mean Sets," particularly the Art Deco items for the 20's and 30's. This company is new to me, but I'm already signed on with them and will be buying some items that will appear in promotional photos of "Mean Sets." Good on you! TVAG |

Thank you, Tidders. Bing-searching 1/48 and 1/4" scale doll furniture brings up plenty of hits. Addendum: This firm has some interesting pieces: link |
