I have just posted an After Action Report on the first game of In Her Majesty's Name on my VSF blog, Victoria's Boys in Red.

Or, you can go straight to it here: link

Sounds like Curr is proving more 'immortal' than Akhenaton :)

Excellent AAR there!

Top show!

(Is it just me, but am I the only one who feels an AAR should somehow involve pirates…?)

Joep12317 Jan 2014 6:31 p.m. PST

Well done!
Thanks for sharing;

For the record, Akhenaton was never in serious danger, even after he was shot at (and hit!) by Mohan Singh's water cooled Vickers.

Lord Curr got very lucky. Sairah's poisoned daggers knocked him down twice in a row. But a 2+ Pluck is hard to beat.

People often underestimate Sairah… to their cost

Lord Curr's bunch has been disbanded locally, but no fear, each will have his-or-her part in other endeavors. Singh has been serving a certain Captain Nemo, and Mad Mick is about to become a mad-yet-timid Russian scientist in the employ of the Black Dragon Tong.

Their lordship and ladyship are awaiting a suitable adventure.

Must say, I love your AAR's; I really think this one shows how close and personal IHMN can feel. We ran with larger groups, with three to four players, and I know Craig has asked others to larger companies, but I think games may lose some charm that way.
