Here's build 1 of the United Systems Marine Corps, in their most common appearance -- wearing the hostile environment helmet. Even in battles on earth against the Jong Pac and other opponents, use of chemical and biological agents require such protection.
Seven troopers with the exceedingly powerful M950 rifle/grenade launcher, two poses with the MAPOSER (man-portable smart rocket system) for encounters with vehicles and other heavy materiel, and then a squad leader. I like these dudes! I think Mike Broadbent has really gone above and beyond with them. More will be made -- light combat duty wearing a less restrictive helmet, then a set of enhanced marines with exoskeleton. |

They look great! Remind me of a certain short-lived military sci-fi show, but that's certainly just me ;-). |

I like them. I'd like them better without the oxygen hoses running into the helmet. In combat those hose lines would be vulnerable to breaking or getting tangled in something. Gives them too much of a 1950s look. Just my opinion. I'll wait for the light combat duty. |

Agreed, I'm not keen on the hoses, but it makes them different, and are easily removed if need be. Great sculpts though, and will go on my wish list for sure. Cheers, Kev |

Irish Marine, we already have the first batches of their foes, the Acarine aliens, done. We also have an "ahistorical" foe (if you catch my drift), the rival earth power called the Jong-PAC (middle pacific alliance of many Asian nations led by an uneasy confederation of China and Japan). If the line proves popular, well, you know how it goes

I'm really liking these, definitely see them as an option for a lower tech first generation Eldar for my alternative 40k Universe using Gruntz. The elongated helm and pipe work really give them an Eldar feel in my opinion. Lovely work all round. Now we need vehichles, any suggestions |

Not shown: missing colonists, creepy androids, neck nipples, fondness for pancakes. I'm amazed this particular subject matter was ever made into miniatures, even though its perfectly suited. These look great. |

Actually Allison I have a kickstarter planned for 15mm pancakes -- stretch goals will include steak and eggs, Ma's griddle, and real Vermont maple syrup (stay away from that Canadian stuff!). |

Any guess at eta for these guys? |
khurasanminiatures | 01 Mar 2014 2:17 p.m. PST |
They won't even start the casting process until after Cold Wars, because the caster is a major manufacturer and they are now focusing on that show. My guess, mid spring. Same goes for the Acarines and Jong-Pac. The painter is going to start on them early march, so I'll have painted previews within a month probably. |
