Here's a few shots of a playtest game I ran at our local club this weekend. Ships are fired by Flicking a 20 sided dice off the turrets at enemy ships. If it hits, count the pips on the die for damage done and subtract it from the ship's hull points. Kids are doing math and they don't even realize it!
The wooden ships are hand made by yours truly. The planes I laser cut. All is hand painted.
