I am starting on some early war German Jagers and was wondering if anyone had any paint recomendations for the German Jager uniform? I read it was a grey-green and the books always show a very strong green tint, but what color/paint works best for 15 MM figures?

Thankj,

Terry

Vallejo makes a nice light feldgrau. Armory's feldgrau was perfect. Works good for the helmet covers on line troops too.

I assume you mean early WW1. I use Vallejo German Uniform to distinguish them from the rest wearing Fieldgrey.

Neither are likely to be the 'perfect' colours but there is some contrast between them and the jaeger come out a bit greener.

I'm home nowand have the color in front of me. Vallejo 70.886 Green Grey. Check it out and see what you think. Would probably work best over a light color primer.

I did them with Humbrol Army Green, which on 15s made them sufficiently green to distinguish from their grey infantry pals.
