I am thinking of starting an 1813-14 Prussian army in 15mm and am looking for a figure I can use for the Garde zu Fuss with the plumes (more Parade than Campaign dress). I know Minifigs has them, but I want to do these forces with either Old Glory, Blue Moon or ABs. I know that BM and AB do not have the Garde in this uniform. I know that the Russian Guard 1805-11 has the fat plume and have looked at the AB and BM versions of this figure and am wondering if they would be usable as Prussian Garde. Both versions seem have the figures with the hair qued (spelling?) which looks to be the only question. Has anyone done the Prussian Garde with the plumes and if so what figures did you use?

Scale?
In 15mm I use Old Glory Prussian grenadiers.

15mm is the scale. Since it's hard to find a catalog picture of the OG figures I wasn't sure. So the Grenadier pack has them in dress uniform- more or less?

Yes, more or less. Uncovered shakos with "fat" plumes (tall, "hairy" falling plumes for officers), greatcoat rolled and strapped onto the top of the pack, mess kit strapped to outside of pack.

The 1813-15 Prussians were amongst the tightest in enforcing 'parade vs field dress' distinctions.
Even preparing for set piece battles, when their French counterparts might don their best plumes and long gaiters- the Prussian Guards, although their coats would be made as clean as possible and their belts pipeclayed sparkly white, their shakos would definitely still be encased in (clean) oilcloth covers.

I used early AB Russian figures for my Prussian Guard ZU FUSS

They seemed to work quiet well. ( only glaring difference is the haversack , but that is something i can live with .

Also , you can use , late Russian AB Guard / Grenadiers with the tall thin Plumes , for Kaiser Franz & kaiser Alexander regiments. belts
