Hi Guys
Continuing on from my last BLOG post and keeping with a 'Napoleonic' theme I recently finished off a 28mm Prussian Foot Battery.
You can see more on my BLOG here:

The miniatures are PERRY. I've based them on 50mm wide by 100mm deep bases.

I'll use them for playing LASALLE and Field of Glory: Napoleon.
I'm a huge fan of PERRY MINIATURES. In 28mm scale I think only CALPE can rival their Prussian range.
As usual comments are welcomed.
Cheers

I love the crew running the gun back. Awesome stuff. I enjoy painting Napoleonic artillery – no rifles and usually no backpacks to paint.

As a matter of interest are they 40x80mm or 50x100mm bases, or something else entirely?

Hi Brian
Bases are 50mm x 100mm. All the details are on my blog.
Cheers

Awesome work Scott! I have been painting up a few of these bad boys myself over the last couple of days.

Always interesting to see the interpretation of basing Nap artillery by a real Gunner! And FWIW I second your views on the quality of Perry and Calpe – my Prussian guns are exclusively Calpe, but I am slowly redoing my French guns with Perry….

Hi Guys
My battery wont be complete until I have based up two Ammo cassions / Limbers on 50mm x 100mm base that will sit length ways behind the 4 guns. Maybe with an officer or tow and a Musician. I'll have muskets and packs stacked back there also.
That will give me a battery depth of 150mm and a width of 200mm.
The real work in a battery is hauling the ammunition!
Cheers
