Here is the freshly based 42nd Regiment of Foot, (The Black Watch) as painted by my very talented mate 'Gunner Dunbar'. They are almost all VICTRIX 28mm Plastics except for the Rude Highlander flashing his backside at those pesky French. He is a metal miniature from Westfalia Miniatures.

He's done a terrific job on these, they look great. What did you do with the other Rude highlander?

The other rude highlander will be part of another highlander battalion. 73rd IIRC which is also being painted by Gunner Dunbar.

79th, perhaps? That must surely be the go…

92nd Foot, Gordon Highlanders!
That's the other Regiment.
Now I remember,….
I already have the 79th although they look rather scruffy and campaign worn.

Great stuff, trailape.

I can vaguely remember painting the 92nd thirty or so years ago – Hinchcliffe figures. The yellow stripe is the killer…

Yellow stripe the Killer?

What about the 79'th.with multiple red stripes and a yellow stripe?

These Victrix figs look pretty good, but the feathers in the bonnet seem very full to me.
