At the time of the ACW there were other conflicts arround the world, you can see this interesting pics of those days: "The upper cannons on September 6, 1865(4) after occupation This is the lower part of the Maeda Chaya of the Choshu Clan which was occupied by the British army after the attack on the 5th and 6th. Worgman's drawing using this picture was printed in a London newspaper"
