I just got another email from Mantic and glancing at it I noticed the dreadball figures and thought that a few of them would make great super hero figs.

If the one guy isn't Iron Man, then he is a very good stand-in:

Here you have a couple that would work as armoured guys and a couple alien types:

Another couple of armor types here:

This one has a robot, a giant alien thing and a guy that could be any type of hero in the green. They make a whole team of those green guys, but probably one would be good enough:

Here is the alien menace:

A few in this pack would work well too:

They even make an ape-thing which people seem to love:

and it looks like you can buy a lot of them as singles:

The Chromium Chargers would make excellent bad guy robots:

They aren't a bad price either for the teams, 10 figs for 15 quid. The individual figs are a little more pricey but in the packs they still aren't bad at 6 for 15 quid.

Plus they are already pretty superheroically posed.

Nice find: lots of inspiration there!

I agree, with their lack of guns, a lot of the Dreadball figures work well as supers.

I hadn't really given it much thought before, but they definitely would make some great supers.

Great find. I only have the starter teams, but these new races/players have a lot of potential outside the game.

Good find. I'd thought about some of their earlier ones for power suits, but there are some great minis in that lot.
