Very nicely done. Love this range!

Well done like em. Although I like Pig Iron products I would never pay the cough price of £2.00 GBP per figure, but will do my damnedest to try and scratch build/copy them using all those lovely plastics out there. Not stopping others mind you, just a tad pricey for me,

Your friend has some mad skills! Makes me wanna buy some and paint up.

$3.50 USD (ish) per figure isn't outrageous for a 28mm figure. Especially one of metal. They're on my short list to buy.

Very nice figs! 3.50 may not be outrageous. But it can add up pretty quickly if you are looking to buy 30-40 figs at that price. Combine that with the very low price of new hard plastic 28mm and the disparity becomes much larger.

YMMV.

Thanks,

John

Glad you can afford them BigNickR, not all of us are as fortunate. As John explains above. I might be able to afford the head swop kits but again the postage to me overseas makes it a stupid idea again. And being metal is not the point either (some plastic manufactures are charging close on to metal) I just cannot afford it at this time, so innovation takes over another great part of the hobby thanks to all the great manufactures that make up bits to kitbash Heads, weapons and extra kit are all realitvly cheap if you shop around basic body spruces from WW2 and the like build up to taste with a bit o greenstuff. and hey presto great original troopers to put on the table (thank goodness I have a smattering of skill in this regard or I would be even sadder ;-) I thin its time for all the metal manufactures to do the plastic torso idea (my idea free to all out ther lads) enjoy the day gents off to raid my bits boxes got an idea coming on. Cheers

$3.50 USD is nothing. Look at Malifaux, Infinity, Warmahordes or GW, figures will easily run between $10 USD-$15 for a single 28mm metal mini & people happily pay those prices.

For metal sci-fi figures, they are well priced.

As I have always maintained, perception of value is always in the eye of the beholder… so no matter how much they cost, they will always generate different opinions.

Pig Iron are a great company with some very nice product that is reasonably priced when pitted against their competitors.
