Looking to do both Russian and German forces for winter battles (both 15/28mm scale), but how do you create the white wash/snow camo effects on tanks and vehicles?

Looking to find out about various techniques for doing this.
Are there any good tutorials etc.

Thanks in advance to all that share their thoughts.

That is an INSANE amount of work to get that awesome result!

I just looked around for historical pictures and tried to replicate the camo. Winter 41/42 had less white camo on both sides. For winter 41 I even made up some simple white sheets draped on some of the German vehicles.

Thin white oil, acrylic or enamel paint. Paint the vehicle white and drybrush the base color over. It is hard to go wrong with whitewash. Lookup salt technique and toothpaste technique. link
