Good Day all Thanks to a link to my FB page, I stumbled on this picture by an American tourist of the Arsenal at the Greek naval yard of Salamis in 1900.
The big ship in the foreground seems to be one of the three Greek French built pre-dreads in peace colours. I do not believe I have seen a picture of these ships in their peace scheme if that is it. With Respect KTravlos |

Based on the couple postcards I have, it looks like Greek ships pre-WWI were painted black. WWI ships were painted grey, possibly for the Second Balkan War they were grey. |

By the way the War Times Journal now produces rapid prototypes for the Hydra class! Huzzah * 3. Only thing left is the Mesudiye and Averoff! |
