The December Issue of 2013's Saxe N' violets is mailed. It contains an article showing two different approaches to crating an Imagi-Nation, a particularly Turkish flavored one. Two gamers take different approaches to the problem. Several other articles supporting it and on Imaginations, specifically various methods of mapping Imagi-Nations are also in the issue. The issue is 8 tabloid sized pages long.

Also with this mailing is the 2013 BONUS Issue in the two year (now tending into three) on creating and maintaining Imagi-Nations. This bonus Issue is ---SEX IN IMAGI-NATIONS which is all about how to incorporate this into the game, specifically through the Royal Mistress. the issue is 10 tabloid sized pages long.

We are presently working on 2015 issues to extend the Imagi-Nation topic another year.

Saxe N' Violets is published by the Society of Daisy, a group dedicated to humor and whimsy in war games, and the advancement of the Imagi-Nation.

the cost of a subscription is $10 USD a year purely to defray postage. Saxe N' Violets is all content. We do not accept advertising.

For those of us just learning of this. Is there a way to get back issues? I am particularly interested in the material on Imaginations.

Dear Eli

Yes. The whole of 2013 was devoted to Imagi-Nations. The whole of 2014 is as well. It looks like we are continuing into 2015 too. Actually most of Saxe and Violets throughout it's life has een primarily devoted to them.

We have a complete stock of back issues. We presently charge $2.50 USD each. All proceeds from the sales of these and regular prescriptions go solely to cover cost of printing and publishing. Subscriptions are $10.00 USD per year for four issues (bonus issues are free). Each issue is at least four tabloid sized pages (11x17) both sides full color. Anything left over goes into the coffers of our "Weekend" Convention in Lancast PA in June, which is in it's fifth year. This is a not-for profit convention held each year. This years will be on the weekend of June 20-22.

If you wish materials and information send your postal address to my e-mail at sigurd@eclipse.net.

Sorry we do not make or use electronic downloads of anything.

What would the cost be for someone in the UK ?

OSchmidt06 Mar 2014 5:26 a.m. PST

Dear Guthroth.

It would be the same. We're not interested in making money, just getting the word out. We're only interested in covering out printing and mailing costs, and the gamers in the US don't mind paying a little more to help our British Cousins across the pond. if you feel obligated you can make a donation of whatever you wish.

Dear Guthroth.

Oh yeah, we don't use paypal or anything, but we have one of our members who comes over for our June convention "The Weekend" Held in Lancaster PA. If you want it I'll send you his address. He collects the English money, turns it into American when he comes over here and pays us.
