Empress unveils four new sets for the current Australian army. You can discover three infantry sets and the Humvee equivalent for the Australians, the MATV.
Very nice!

Hi
A nice range but the figure using his mater hand to signal is very un-Australian. No self respecting Digger would ever use his mater hand to signal. At least he's keeping his eyes on the target.
The OSHKOSH M-ATV is used by both the USMC and US ARMY.
I spent a fair bit of time travelling around in these beasts in 2011:

I hope they make a trailer to match.

Good idea about the trailer!.

I'm happy to see these figures, and I will probably buy some.

BUT……….

Is it just me or do others think they look a bit like they have ( to quote Banjo Paterson) "sticks up their backsides".

Splod8909 Jan 2014 1:05 a.m. PST

The MATV is American and not in use by the ADF. Lovely kit though.
As for the ADF figs, looking really nice. Although the figure signalling with his master hand is completely off. It's drilled into us at basic that you never take your master hand off your weapon. Not to wave, wipe, Bleeped text or play with yourself.
Bit bummed they're 28mm though, wish they were available in 20mm.

Agreed and exactly what I said, (but for some reason I wrote 'mater' hand). Bloody auto correct.

Ha, hadn't even noticed the spelling error. I've had more than a few auto-correct errors lately.
I was just backing up what you'd already said, more voices and all that. Don't think we'll be able to convince them to resculpt the figures however :(

Hi Splod89
Agreed, I can't see a recast happening.
They look like nice figures all the same. I wish EUREKA would do GWoT Aussies.
Cheers

Empress have put up the Australians on their website – link

I can't see the figure waving his master hand so it looks like they have resculpted.

All 'Out of Stock' already!
Must be popular.
Not many firing poses unfortunately but they look pretty nice all the same.

The Aussies,PLA and USMC will all be available for sale as soon as they have mailed everything out to the people who participated in the Kick starter. This should be within the next month..
