First my apologies for this follow up taking so long but I had a very busy Christmas :)

I'm interested to see what people think of this comic type format…anyway hope you enjoy it.

I do recommend you choose the full screen version:

Most impressive. Look forward to seeing further updates.

Very well done. Great looking game. Where did you get the comic book format?

Thanks,
Steve

That's incredible John. So, beautiful figures, beautiful table, and now this? I don't think I like you anymore. In my defense, I do everything half-ass, not just wargaming!

So the comic book is some sort of PDF format? How much longer does it take to do that than a 'regular' write-up? I don't think I would do that for everything, but I think that style could be cool with my "All Americans" fights.

Again, simply amazing. You're such a show off ;)

V/R,
Jack

"Comic Life" Steve…don't think it's everyone's cut of tea but was fun to put together and compared to anything else I've tried was really easy to work with!

Glad you liked it guys

LoL…Jack the program was actually way easier to work with than anything (when you learnt the basics)! And as I said was so much fun to put together. Feedback I have to say is mixed…some preferred the more mellow, "soft bunnies and frolicking moo cows approach…"

I kind of like it…I personally think it would be great with your style of AAR's…in fact with your narrative style I'd say it would be very complimentary (especially the All-American)…you should give it a try

Thanks for the feedback

But please people give me your feedback…even negative…I'd be interested in knowing what people think…do you prefer the previous type…

John,

Thanks for providing the name, I'll have to take a look. It better be free! ;)

I'll have to take a look, and definitely will look at using it for 'All-Americans,' which I think is sufficiently 'comic-booky.'

I've got nothing but positive things to say: it looks great, it's entertaining, and it gets across the point of what's happening on the table. I give it a 9.5 out of 10 (only because I'm one of those guys that never gives a 10!).

V/R,
Jack

Ah good to know Jack…not a lot of feedback here :) but got a lot of PM's which were by in large positive…love or hate seems to be the consensus :)… Black or white for this grey panda :)

The software's V1 and version 2 are free…I think I'll use it regardless since it manages photo transferring so quickly and as you well know anything that speeds up this process is well worth doing… I'd love to see what you'd do with it…I really think it would work great with your fast talkin' doggies :)

9.5 out of 10 hmmm…how could I better that… wonder if I threw in a heroic Jarheads named Jack… ;)

All the best and thanks for letting me know what you think although I have my suspicions that you're being a little too kind..:)

Okay, here's some honest feedback.

Not to pull rank, but speaking as a professional comic book artist, I have to say I prefer your old format. I want nice big pictures of your beautiful terrain! I think this format doesn't show your work to its best advantage. I'm more interested in the visuals than the game mechanics.

But having said that, I thought it very well done. Just not my cup of tea.

Bill thank you for your honesty…and I have to say I'm inclined to agree. I'm looking on the next part and while I'm using the same program I've toned it down a lot (as I said I do love using it) I'd be really interested in your opinion when I post it.

I do still want to show the mechanics at work so I know this won't be as aesthetically pleasing as the larger shots…

Personally I think its too jazzy…distracting from the photos but I think it could work if it was a little more subdued…anyway as I said the next two parts will both look different…we'll see what you think.

Thanks again Bill

PS

What a cool cool job!

All the best
