I paint to wargaming standard, so painted for the tabletop :-)

Now to get gaming!

They look nicely done. Is there a US distributor for their figs. I want their Ninjas.

RazorMind04 Jan 2014 9:45 p.m. PST

Noble Knight seems to carry them, they are in the US

They look very nice. Are the dead models perry's?

For the leader how difficult do you think it would be to remove the head in the spear hand. I have been considering ordering the model but I don't really like the head in the spear hand.

RazorMind05 Jan 2014 9:01 a.m. PST

the weapon, head, and hand are one piece you glue to the main model. Looking at it, I do not think it would be that hard to remove the head with a sharp xacto knife. The dead samurai are indeed Perry's. They have lots of character, well worth buying.

Carlos13th05 Jan 2014 2:11 p.m. PST

Yeah I managed to get the dead samurai set on ebay for around £3.00 GBP Bargan.

Wolvenwood06 Jan 2014 1:59 p.m. PST

FRP Games also caries them.

I like the Kensei figures. A little pricey, and upper end assembly.

The Wargames Factory Samurai came out very nice. Probably the best deal to get people involved for the dollar. Just donno why the Samurai Box does not have bows so you need another box.

I am still a fan of Perry, Clan Wars and Samurai Wars if you do not have a lot of time for assembly and want some nice figures. Old Glory and Perry make the only banners. Yeah I know its Skirmish, but still.

Lion in the Stars03 Feb 2014 7:47 p.m. PST

Even a skirmishing band should have a banner. Didn't the Seven Samurai have a banner?

Joby400104 Feb 2014 3:36 a.m. PST

Wayland Games carry Kensei too. For UK I think this is cheapest source:

And yes, banners are fine for skirmish – don't the Ronin rules encourage their use with morale bonuses?
