Hi Guys
I've posted some photos of some WIP on the 14th Brooklyn in 28mm for LONGSTREET.

My version of the 14th Brooklyn is made up of PERRY MINIATURES (Coded ACW64 and 65)because at the time I was unaware of any manufacturer that made this specific Regiment. I've since discovered SASH AND SABER (S&S) and FORGOTTEN AND GLORIOUS (FG MiniZ) do in fact produce this Regiment in 28mm metal.
So, I purchased a Regimental pack from FG MiniZ on a preorder deal they were running, (they had not actually produced them but were in the process of doing so at the time).
NOW I have the 14th Brooklyn in both PERRY and FG MiniZ form, although I have not painted the FG Miniz version yet.
Anyway, you can see the WIP on the PERRYs and also compare them to the Forgotten and Glorious (FG MiniZ) version.

Very tasty!

It seems a lot of new ACW is being produced in the right shoulder shift pose….. I have enough units in RSS. I do like a firing line with fixed bayonets, or shoulder arms pose.

If manufactures are interested in making a `line` of ACW they should think of other poses than RSS.

A bit of grass on the bases would break the brown look up a bit….just a thought grin

Hi HammerHead
What part of: "I have not finish them yet. I still need to dry brush the bases, add flock and grass tuffs and obviously I need to add both National and Regimental Flags" did I miss?
I'm doing that at this moment actually.
I actually like the RSS pose for my advancing units. Firing lines are also good.
Cheers
