Ok, so I finally got throught the backlog and managed to do something different with the front page and I also set up a link page for all the Armies of Arcana sub pages.

Let me know what you think of the new design, will add different pictures as i get more stuff painted.

Very nice! I really like the pictures of miniatures.

The only suggestion is to remove the globe with visitors since it doesn't work on all browsers, such as my phone.

Edit: just to reiterate I really like how I can see what kind of miniatures each of your ranges contain

Pretty subtle change, but much easier to find the right range. Also makes it clearer to see what each product range is.

Definitely a step in the right direction, although I still think that banner needs to go. The other thing I'd consider is deleting the LGG shield logo from the middle (since it's repeated on the Facebook logo on the left) and moving the bit of text below it to the bottom of the page rather than leaving it at the top. Between the two of them that'll make your strongest product line immediately visible on the homepage, rather than having to scroll down before you can see any product or what ranges you make.

Finally, the "splash" pages detailing the ranges, linked from the homepage are great, but links from them only go to the "products home" page – I'd definitely add a "click to buy this range" type link to each one as well, that'll take people direct to the relevant page in the shop.

Yeah the front page was the first page I ever did and I learned later to use the photo widgets instead of adding them to the text box where I had less control over them. Much less of a struggle to make the home page look like this.

@dom I moved that bit of text up from the bottom as I figured no one saw it way down there. I could delete the shield off, but its not going to change anything as far as scrolling when looked at on the iPad, will have to check the computer later.

I'll have to look and see if I can actually link to the store category pages or not, it is something I have not tried. Looking with the pad I am not certain there is any address to make a link too, there should be somewhere

I agree with Dom – the shield and text on the home page only hide the miniatures.

The Products pages seem a bit redundant – the Store is where people want to be so they can buy stuff.

Never saw the point of that spinny globe thing.

Also, the combination of that banner with the revolver and the shield below it is a little odd to my eyes – they don't sit well together as competing company logos.

Also, between that and the first two lines of text, you're telling me who you are four times – seems a little excessive. grin I'd drop the "Lone Gunman Games" above the banner and move the menu items to underneath the banner. Also, I'm not sure about the line "Welcome to Lone gunman Games.com"; firstly, the "g" in "gunman" should be a capital, and secondly, that isn't your URL; drop the ".com".

Finally, and now I'm being pedantic, the symbol for millimetre is "mm", not "MM".

Looks fine to me. Not overwhelming or anything. Simple and to the point.

Ok, I have tweaked things a bit. Got rid of the shield and moved everything up further. I did manage to ad click to buy links on all the product pages to the corresponding pages in the store.

I always thought the globe was kind cool cause it shows a red dot where people were who visited the site and how many are on at that particular moment.

My 2 cents is to remove the banner and figure out a header that is no taller than 30px and above your section header and navigation which uses elements from the banner.

Definitely heading in the right direction.

I am working with somewhat of a template, so making those smaller will not help they are pre-sized.
