I have for years been using coral paint pro 3, however my old computer has finally decided enough is enough and lay down and died. So i tried to download it but it transpires it will not do so. So is there a free download for something similar, don't want to pay for an art package as all i use it for is making flags cheers jon |

gimp.org – probably the most widely known with lots of online support |

A second for Gimp. One of the best of the freebies out there. |

Thirded. Be warned, GIMP is very powerful – basically an open source Photoshop – but without the relatively user-friendly polish. Still, tons of support out there for most any project. Making flags will be pretty easy. |

Another option (that I prefer over Gimp) is paint.net which is also free getpaint.net Steve |

I would suggest the drawing program that comes as part of OpenOffice. It's free. |
