From Yamato USA – T-Rex: link Supposedly 1/48 scale, but I see no apparent scale indicators (cockpit, ladder rungs, etc); IMO would work well as a battlemech in 15mm, or a medium-sized walker in 28mm. Certainly at a price point that doesn't disappoint. :) |

That's a great looking mech at a good price point. The style looks like it would fit well in various settings 4.5 inches is quite a light mech in 28mm, but still imposing on a battlefield where most figures are just over an inch tall. Looks like they're planning for the parts to be interchangeable with future mech releases and weaopons packs and that can only be a good thing. Thanks for sharing that! |

WOW! That's simply fantastic looking, and priced VERY competitively! I might not even repaint the thing

Thanks for the heads up! A multi-scale walker for that price? I'm sold. Now, do I leave it alone or try weathering it a bit? Maybe a touch of wash? Hmmm

I found a couple others on Starship Modelers that people might be interested in:
1/100 scale SAV-07 Belgdor
1/100 scale Metal Gear Rex
1/72 scale Jigabachi AV helo from Ghost in the Shell (which includes a 1/72 scale Tachikoma). |

I believe the current price is a limited-time sale price. I checked one of the store links from the product page that shows it's not yet in stock at that particular site (released next month), and sells for $45. USD I bought 2: one to paint and/or modify, and one to leave in the packaging – just in case

2 for me as well. They will be completing my long-stalled Battlefield 2142 project. The mechs have always been the hardest to find, especially after AT-43 went belly-up. They look very neat and $15 USD is a real steal considering what those sort of models usually go for. |

@ Lion in the Stars Funny, I just bought the Jigabachi kit yesterday. It scales great for 15mm sci if, either as a drone helo or manned. Also, the kit includes 3 tachikoma, not just one. I paid $35 USD locally, which isn't bad at all for 4 models. Assembly is almost done (except for some fragile parts I'm going to leave off). I can post some pics later. |

Thanks for the heads up! A big flyer – AND 3 Tachikomas – for $35 USD is too good to pass up. Just ordered a kit. |
