Just what can I do with this veteran and neglected collection of ECW and Renaissance figures. Old School or New School? link Please have a look! |

Pike and Shotte is, by all accounts, a pretty good game. Your rules? Only you know the answer to that. In your friends honor, maybe those? Gush if you want something heavier. It looks like the figures are singly based. I would stick with the latter two. |

Hi Jim For Old School I have 3 suggestions. The ECW rules by Bayonet Publications. Uses 36 man infantry units. There is the wargamers newsletters Ecw rules. These are included in Donald Feathestones book Lost Tales. This book includes over a dozen of DF rulesets. There is a set by Charlie Wesencraft in his book Pratical Wargaming. These use about a dozen figures per unit. He also has another book Pike and Musket which may be worth looking at. Cheers Mark |
