HI there, what are the best models available in 15mm? I here Musket Miniatures has what seems to be the best in 15mm with remoavable roofs etc.?

Any pinions or pictures would be of great use.

My 15mm Rorke's Drift collection is more than a decade old. The figures are largely Old Glory 15s with some Essex and a few Minifig. The buildings are by Hovels and while the roofs don't come off I think they made a good looking product. You can see them in diorama form at link

Hovels do a 15mm Rorkes Drift. There are pictures on the website:

Two thumbs up for the Musket Miniatures model!

I have the Musket Miniatures set and it works very well in gaming the battle. Neither building contains individual rooms to game the 'room-to-action' that took place but in the vast majority of our games that works out fine. I highly recommend a fast play set of free Rorke's Drift rules created by Bill Molyneaux of the Gettsyburg Area Gamers and available for download from their website. Bill's a gentleman and a super nice guy and available to answer any questions you may have about his rules.

For the times when we want to game a full scale recreation of Rorke's Drift we use a splendid and faithful reproduction handcrafted for me many years ago by the inestimible Howard Whitehouse, gifted terrain maker (an understatement), writer and purveyor of terrific rules and books, scholar, and gentleman. Okay, so the last one might have been a stretch… :-) The model that Howard made for me has each individual room with doorways and windows and all kinds of detail. A work of miniature art.

Blue Moon does incredible work with their buildings! If they release one, it will be the one to have IMO.

19th Century has one in 15mm with individual rooms and removable roofs. mmade by same person who makes the Blue Moon buildings

The Blue Moon Zulus look very cool, with ring around head, zulu shields as well. I was not aware of these.

19th Century? 15mm Rorke's Drift buildings? I thought those were in 10mm? Any link for those?

All I found under 19th Century was:
Rorkes Drift Box Set in 15mm, has figures as well. $200. USD

Damn I wish I saw that before I ordered my 300 Zulus and all the Brits I need last year.

Can one buy them separate?

I just got news that Stone Mountain is re-designing the Rorke's Drift building set and will have removable roof etc.. It should be ready in 45 days.
