This was a very fun fight. It was pretty close through most of the game.

In Round 5, the Infantry fail their Charge Initiation Check, and become Shaken? I thought there was no penalty for failing the Check (other than no charge that Turn), so they should not have become Shaken. If I am correct, then their morale would have been better, and they could have just marched into combat normally (if close enough).

I am surprised the Giants did not hurl rocks sooner. That is one of their greatest weapons. You did not specify Long, or Short Bows for the Humans -- Long Bows have incredible range, which I think might have outreached the Giants' stone throwing by an inch, at Long Range?

You are correct: BattleSystem is all about morale. If your morale checks cause a failure, it can be over then, and there. Your game had a genuine pitch, back and forth, as to who was in the lead. To me, that is great fun. Your narrative was good, the photo's went very well with the write-up. Great game -- thanks for sharing! Cheers!

We made a judgement call. We rolled a 20, which we thought was a disastrous failure. We didn't treat it as shaken for morale purposes, but simply fell into irregular formation.

The humans had short bows, so the shorter range.

It was a mistake not to have the giants hurl stones from a distance. I was playing them, and just wanted to close the distance and hope for shock and awe!
