Press Release for Red Star, White Lights Its winter right now in the Northern Hemisphere and as the old song says. "..the weather outside is frightful." And in an alternate 1985, the weather in Scandinavia could have been very frightful indeed. Welcome to the Third World War up north. Jason Weiser and Ambush Alley Games, in partnership with ArmiesArmy miniatures, has teamed up to release a new scenario pack for its Force on Force scenario pack "Cold War Gone Hot," a PDF only release. In "Red Star, White Lights" are 11 scenarios and special rules to cover the unique nature of war as it would be found in the northern theatre. There's also ORBAT information about the Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish armies, which can help you to generate your own desperate battles in the far north. The scenarios also feature some of the best on both sides, Soviet KGB Oznaz, US Navy SEALs, British Royal Marine Commandos, and a host of other elite troops. The scenario pack is currently in development, and will be ready when it's ready, but stay tuned as we keep you apprised as to its progress here. Coupled with ArmiesArmy 15mm figures that will cover the troops engaged, this is a perfect scenario pack to get an idea of what would have happened if the Soviet Army had ever advanced south under the "white lights." |

Just for clarity's sake, I'd like to point out that there is no partnership between Ambush Alley Games and Army's Armies. Keith and Jason are working on the PDF only expansion described in the release above (which was not released by AAG) and it will be released by AAG if it meets our standards upon completion. The figures being produced by Keith are great, but they're not connected with AAG. Thanks, Shawn. |

Shawn, We apologize for any confusion. In any case, "Red Star, White Lights." is in playtesting as of right now, and seeing as how a lot of it was playtested earlier, I am confident the rest should come along shortly. Jason |

. Apologies, I have NO association with Ambush Ally Games and my figures are entirely independant regards Keith |

Anonymous sources are interested in both the AAG rules and the AA miniatures, keen to see more. ~source quoted anonymously as they are not approved for posting opinion of Destrier. |

@Destrier: ;) You can learn about 'em both on the Ambush Alley Games forum: ambushalleygames.com/forum We post updates on what we're working on there, as does Army's Armies (and several other miniatures manufacturers who make modern and science fiction figures). All the best, Shawn |
