Sorry but I've tried multiple time to get the image inserted into this post following the FAQ but I just can't get it to work. So I'm afraid you'll have to check out the blog post if you want to see what I mean:

It's from Tim Pollard's collection, and it's an unreleased metal multipart Rogue Trader era Space Marine kit.

Still a neat looking model.

Thanks for the pics – how on earth did you manage it?!

Fantastic. Looks like something they were thinking about prior to the RTB01s or maybe a trial for a psychostyrene style two or three figure sprue.

I'd buy a load if they were released even today.

Old Mighty Magnitudes, THAT is what they based the Womble MkVI plastic 001 kit on. WOW! when Space Marines were very coo, even Games workshop was not the EE of today and I was sooo enthusiastic about the Rouge Traderverse. Cool one…

Now that is a piece of vintage gaming awesome. Good find and thanks for posting.

I love it. If only they'd put that into production…

wehrmacht23 Dec 2013 11:34 a.m. PST

Well that's fairly amazing! :D

You sure it was unreleased? I've got one in my collection (of iffy provenance) that looks like it's assembled from pieces of this one.

(Supposedly a tech marine, missing its mechanical arm.)

There sure is a lot of unreleased oddness out there. Thanks for posting it.
