Hello there,

Courtesy of the patient administrator over at LONE WARRIOR BLOG, my WOTR AAR is now up and viewable.

Feel free to take a look and comment.

Assessment

Photos of this wargame would never make the cover (let alone pages) of any magazine catering to and covering our splendid hobby. The terrain set out on my table was simple to the point of being crude, but it was effective and completely functional. The same can be said of the troops used in this fictional engagement.

Regardless of your assessment, some real game pics. would still be good!

Were you using 'flat terrain' pieces, sort of 'geomorphic' style?

Thanks KT. Appreciate it.

Tony58 – Will strive to do this in future. Going through LWB (Lone Warrior Blog) is convenient but can result in administrative and sometimes, technological delays.

Looking into starting my own blog for 2014, so I don't have to bother with (or bother) a third party.

Yes, the terrain pieces could be called "geomorphic." The maps included in the piece show how perfect and unnatural they were/are.

Thanks for reading.

Chris

Thanks for your reply Chris.

Having looked at your 'Having a go at Hastings' AAR., I can see what I guess, is similar to what you did with the 'WOTR Battle.'

I have been thinking along these lines for a while now.

Been scratch building scenery/terrain for sci fi/fantasy/medieval gaming.
Got to the point where I am being overwhelmed and having storage problems.

I have become obsessed with using packaging from all sorts of things, to the point, that I can't throw things out, because I see so much potential in junk, Help!

So flat/geomorphic scenery/terrain may be the solution.
